Private lessons and small group sessions with BETA instructors are available for Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Mixed Martial Arts, and Fitness. These sessions provide customized techniques and training methods that work for your specific body type and fitness level. You can schedule a one-hour session at a time that works best for you - it’s a great alternative or supplement to our regular classes. Packages of multiple sessions are also available. At BETA Academy, students and friends benefit from a variety of weekend workshops that help them to achieve their martial arts and fitness goals. Most of our workshops are held on Sundays at little to no cost to students. Workshops may reinforce techniques that are found in our continually evolving curricula. For example, we have held several workshops devoted to the Muay Thai clinching and kicking techniques, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu triangle choke, spider guard and passing the guard. We have also held extracurricular workshops on nutrition for athletic performance, weapons self-defense, women-only Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Ginastica Natural and stretching.
